This year, one thing to avoid is undercharging your clients or potential clients in the name of customer loyalty or landing the deal. It is one of the fastest ways to lose your reputation and that of your business. Dragging your feet and forcing yourself to deliver on a job you don’t feel appropriately paid for is excruciating.

Charge your worth especially those of you in the service business and focus on attracting those clients that will be willing to pay what you deserve. A handful of clients paying you the right price is better than a multitude ripping you off.

I know we sometimes need money badly and in our desperation we settle for less just to make it through the day. Don’t make it a habit if you want to build a brand that lasts and attain the respect of your clients and prospects. Always charge the right price and rather give discounts if you absolutely need to but don’t compromise easily!
